After over 20 years in the yoga world as an owner and director of three yoga studios in Toronto, Darcy decided to embark on a new chapter and use her entrepreneurial skills in a new way as owner and president at Spy. The principles by which she lives her life are woven into the pillars by which she runs a business. She is a strong believer in the power of community and connection and infuses this ethos into every business she owns.  She will always be connected to her practice and to the teaching of yoga which helps keep her tethered to her truth and reminds her of her place in and responsibility to the land.  You can find her in the Orchard every Friday morning, taking a break from business operations, on the mat teaching a yoga class open to all.

Ian and his family ventured to The Blue Mountains in 2016, seeking a life filled with adventure.  The allure of the picturesque Blue Mountains and its endless recreational opportunities drew him back to Simcoe County, where Ian spent his formative years.  When he's not carving through the snow or honing his golf swing, Ian brings his business acumen and keen sense of taste and style to the world of real estate, and now also, spirits and cider.  Known for his ability to bring smiles to people's faces, Ian effortlessly lightens any situation with his quick wit.  Ian's infectious laughter and light-hearted approach have the power to turn ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.

Having spent many summers and winters in the region during his youth, his connection to Ontario’s apple-growing heartland became the foundation for his shift from the corporate world to cider making and distilling. With a deep-rooted appreciation for the artistry and science of cider making, Jonah has honed his craft to produce exceptional ciders that showcase the finest flavours and highest quality. Drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of cider making, distilling and the beautiful orchard around him, Jonah combines classic techniques with innovative methods to create unique, flavourful ciders and spirits. As a Cider Institute of North America Certified Cider Maker, Jonah is committed to upholding the highest standards in the industry. Heather is the Director of Operations, Sales & Marketing at Spy Cider House & Distillery, bringing extensive experience in broadcast production, digital marketing, and project management. Her background includes managing music and art events, producing documentaries, lifestyle programming, and overseeing animated explainers and training videos. She applies this expertise to Spy, streamlining operations, driving sales, and enhancing brand strategy. With a strong focus on efficiency and sustainability, Heather ensures Spy’s production, sales, and marketing align with business goals. She manages key partnerships, oversees branding, and executes strategic initiatives to grow the company’s presence. Outside of work, she values outdoor exploration, competitive sports, and wellness, all of which align with Spy’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
