How is Spy Cider produced?

Spy Cider is produced using our geothermal power infrastructure, which consists of a row of 316-gauge stainless steel tanks and a hand-hammered copper still in our state-of-the-art in-house facility in Ontario. Our cider and spirits contain two types of fruit: the kind we grow ourselves on our organic farm in The Blue Mountains, and the kind we buy directly from our nearby neighbors. Our focus is local. Pressing the very best fruit on site allows Spy to create batches from the organic fruit grown on our farm.

Is Spy Cider gluten free?

Yes, all three flavours of our Spy Cider are gluten-free. The three different flavours are Golden Eye Premium Dry Apple Cider, Never Say Never Organic Estate Apple Cider, and Crimson Tide Premium Black Currant Infused Dry Apple Cider.

What makes Spy Cider dry?

Our ciders are sugar-free, which is what makes them dry ciders. Dry cider is less sweet, meaning that our blend of apple flavours and aromas takes a front seat.

What is Spy’s Gin made from?

Each of our two gins has 13 organic botanicals infused in them and contains: Ceylon Cinnamon Stick, Cardamom, Juniper Berries, Lemon Peel, Orris Root, Coriander, Nutmeg, Wormwood, Liquorice Root, Fennel Seeds, Hibiscus Flowers, Star Anise, Whole Bourbon Vanilla Beans. All of our ingredients are listed on our product pages. The gins differ in their infusion style and have distinctly different taste profiles.

How is Spy’s Brandy made?

Spy Brandy is double distilled and lightly aged in cognac barrels; the result is a smooth and spicy flavour with perceptible heat behind it.

We recommend you contact your local LCBO locations and inform them about your interest in having Spy products added to their shelves. You may also contact LCBO via social media, displaying your interest, as we are constantly working at increasing our distribution across LCBO – keep an eye out!

Can I buy a Spy gift card?

Absolutely. Spy Cider House and Distillery gift cards are available to purchase under our products page and can be bought in $15-$200 increments. Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.
